Review Summary: My 2nd set of Sennheiser earphones...
Review Content: ...and I couldn't be much happier with them. My last set were used, pretty much daily, for over 2 years, on my iPod Classic, and took a lot of abuse--which is why one of the conductors eventually gave up the ghost. I paid around £17 for those, so I was pleased to be able to get the replacement set for pretty much the same price, though the spec is slightly better.
I filled the gap before the new ones arrived with a pair of Panasonic earphones from which I expected--and got--little in the way of quality. I've always assumed that, as I don't have a pair of lossless ears, there's not a lot of mileage in paying crazy money for equipment that delivers lossless quality, and I didn't expect that the new earphones would tear up the tarmac. However, maybe because the panasonic buds were so aweful, when the Sennheisers arrived, they blew me away. Really. The contrast was exceptional.
I'm listening to some Vaughan Williams as I write this, a good test to prove that they deliver real crispness and depth. As I said--I couldn't be happier with them...

Review Content: A week ago I lost my pair of Sennheiser CX 300-II earphones, and had to make do with an older pair. It was only then that I realised what great sound they make compared to other models. Fortunately, today they turned up in the laundry basket, having survived a thorough washing and a 1200 RPM spin cycle, and the sound is cleaner than ever! (geddit??) Probably not recommended use, but impressive nontheless.

Review Content: The sound quality is good, it is sennheiser!
However I am disappointed with the in-ear rubbers...they are very thin and do not hold position in the ear well enough.Maybe that is why they give you 3 sizes.
My daughters £15 headphones hold their position better than these...or is it my ears!
